Benchmark PMHNP Preceptorship Program

Benchmark accepts apllications of highly motivated individuals interested in becoming excellent clinicians, with the ability to practice autonomously and represent the Benchmark brand. We recruit motivated, ethical, driven Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) students with a passion for psychiatry to invest time with elite training. 

Location is Orland Park, IL (southwest suburbs of Chicago, IL), on-site at skilled nursing facilities throughout the state of Illinois and via telehealth. Applicants will be informed if invited for an interview within 20 business days of submission of a completed application.

• Updated Curriculum Vitae
• 2 Letters Of Recommendation 
• RN License (if applicable)
• APRN License (if applicable)
• Controlled Substance License (if applicable)
• DEA License (if applicable)
• 2 Writing Samples (1 non-research)

Applicants will additionally be evaluated based on the response to the following essay, submit as a Word document attachment:

“How has your academic program prepared you, thus far, to practice as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and what do you expect said practice to entail?”

Lastly, the investment allocation of a Benchmark preceptorship is four thousand dollars ($4,000.00), accepted by credit card only. A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required to begin your preceptorship with the remaining fifty percent (50%) due at the six (6) week point of your preceptorship.
