A day Americans will never forget. We were victims of terrorism on that day. Terrorism seeks to hold a society or government hostage by fear of destruction and harm. That is exactly what happened to our nation as the two World Trade Center towers collapsed, the Pentagon was hit, and airplanes went down destined for destruction.

The lose was tremendous as a nation and as individuals. This set off a chain of psychological events and feelings of fear, helplessness, vulnerability, and grief.
